A design proposal for a temporary, modular coffee booth, conceived for mobility and ease of reassembly.
The concept originates from a simple cubic volume—clear, rational, and efficient to construct—offering both structural and economic flexibility. Metal cladding is employed as the external skin, transforming the façade into a reflective surface that continuously shifts with light, pedestrian movement, and weather conditions. As a result, the form avoids visual rigidity, presenting instead a dynamic and ever-changing appearance.
The entrance reinterprets the notion of the threshold through a gesture of subtraction and folding: a portion of the cube is pulled inward and bent to create a welcoming void that embraces the visitor prior to entry. This move disrupts the strict geometry of the cube, establishing a gradual transition between exterior and interior, while giving the moment of entry a distinct spatial and visual presence.
